University of the South Head Coach Megan Taylor (on left) poses with Tiger freshman Sarah Long (second on right) and her parents after Long received the Jon Conyers scholarship at IHSA Nationals on April 25th. Long, who rides in the walk-trot-canter division for the Tigers, is the first person to receive the newly-created scholarship awarded in memory of the late beloved IHSA rider and coach.

Former Centenary College Head Coach Andrea Wells (on far right) is now a Department Chair at Savannah College of Art & Design. The combination of former Bees rider Ashley Kelly (second on left), Wells and Andrew Lustig (far left, the Director of Riding at SCAD) made up their Coaching Staff in 2008-09. The Bees had four riders entered at 2009 IHSA Nationals, with senior Meredith Gallagher (second on right) eighth in individual open over fences and freshman Kelse Bonham (center) second in the division.
