| Until now Tennessee Tech was one of three Zone 5, Region 1 teams of which Campus Equestrian had never posted a
photo. Thanks to Region 1 alumni rider Marianne England (who took this photo and forwarded it to us) we finally learn the Golden Eagles are photogenic!
In the top row from left to right are Jen Walters, Lacey Kelly and Brandi Horton. In the bottom row from left to right are Julie Ann Mirse, Katie Parks
and Jennifer Provost. Not pictured from the Tennessee Tech hunter seat team are Kayla Mills, Jared Phy, Bonnie Fakes and Head Coach Becky Huddleston.
So far Parks is the Golden Eagles' lone Regional Qualifier this season, having pointed out of advanced walk-trot-canter. Now all we need are photos of
Mississippi College and Mississippi State riders and every Region 1 team will have had at least one rider or coaches' picture on our site since we opened
our doors in August 2002. |

Region 1: Referred to by some as 'Mini Nationals' or 'Super Zones,' the first annual IHSA Western Semifinals took place at three sites around
the country on March 24th. Middle Tennessee State hosted one of the three Semifinal shows at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum. Many who were there
said it felt like a National show, and as a bonus the team competition was very close!
