ZONE 8, REGION 3 REGIONALS RESULTS

Clifton, MT - The University of Montana at Missoula was the big winner at Regionals, winning two english and two western classes, but more importantly advancing six english and five western riders individually to Zone 9 Zones in Twin Falls, Idaho over the April 3rd weekend. Farrah Roberts won both the novice flat and novice western divisions while Jenny Sharon (both open western divisions) and Liz McLemore (beginner western and advanced walk-trot-canter) both advanced in two sections for the Grizzlies.

Natalie Naylor of Utah State won both intermediate western horsemanship and advanced walk-trot-canter while Brenna Burris of the College of Southern Idaho was first in both open western classes ahead of Sharon.

The top two in each of these classes (not to mention several others who were in divisions where two or fewer riders qualified for Regionals) will compete at Zones against the top two from Regions 1, 2 & 4, with the top two in each of those classes advancing to IHSA Nationals in Murfreesboro, Tennessee May 6th through 9th.
