IHSA Zone 8, Region 1 Team Standings

No one appears to have traveled further to compete at IHSA Nationals than Wei Ling Heng of Stanford University. While the entire Cardinal team traveled from California to North Carolina for the show itself, Heng is from the state of Penang in Malaysia, giving her the edge over several other riders at Nationals from various European countries. On May 4th Heng (pictured) was fifth in team walk-trot to earn Stanford's first team points of the contest.
