Seen here with Assistant Coach Tanya Truszkowski, University of Findlay senior Natassia Hovey (on right) did as well as anyone from the greater Los Angeles area riding in their own backyard at IHSA Nationals. Hovey was third in team intermediate over fences at the LA Equestrian Center in Burbank, California on May 9th. In her final IHSA undergraduate ride Hovey was second in team intermediate flat the next day. The Oilers finished in a three-way tie for reserve champion with 18 points, half of which were earned by Hovey.
