COMPLETE WESTERN SEMIFINALS RESULTS MARCH 26TH AND 27TH IN CANYON, TX

Ohio State University remained unbeaten in the Semifinals format, winning by a 30-23 margin over Berry College. The Buckeyes clinched prior to the final team class (which they also won). Berry received a second in the final class while Oregon State received a third to overtake S.U.N.Y. - Oswego and fend off a Grand Valley State team which had 15 points through the first four team classes. Ohio State, Berry College and Oregon State each fielded full western teams at 2010 Nationals and will thus do so again in '11. Host West Texas A & M finished in a tie for sixth. To the best of our knowledge this marked the first time a West Texas A & M western or hunter seat team has been eliminated in a post-season show held in their own facility.

Riders who place first through fourth in individual classes at IHSA Western Semifinals advance to IHSA Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky May 5-8, 2011. The top three teams at Western Semifinals also advance to IHSA Nationals.
