From Southampton, New Jersey, Camryn Lubner of the University of South Carolina (pictured) was ninth in the 2022 Cacchione Cup Competition at IHSA Nationals in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Lubner has a chance to improve on that performance as she won a close race for Region 3 high point rider over Kathryn McCarthy of the College of Charleston and Grace Loughlin of Wofford College to earn a spot in the Cacchione class at Zone 5 Zones in Hardeeville, South Carolina on April 6th. Lubner must place third or higher in the class of five on April 6th to advance to 2024 Nationals in Tryon, North Carolina. The Fighting Gamecocks captured their second straight Region Title in 2023-24 and need to place in the top two in the Zone 5 Zones team competition on April 6th to make it two straight visits to IHSA Nationals with a full hunter seat team.
