IHSA Zone 5, Region 2 Team Standings

From Larchmont, New York, University of South Carolina freshman Melina Laroussi (on left) won a close race for Region 2 high point hunter seat open rider. Laroussi edged out Lorrin Mortimer of the University of Georgia by a point and South Carolina teammate Lily Craft by five points. Seen here at 2010 IHSA Nationals with St. Andrews Presbyterian College alumni rider Meg Donahue (who was helping the South Carolina riders at the National show), Laroussi was one of only two freshman to compete in the Cacchione Cup competition May 6th through 8th in Lexington, Kentucky.
