Day one of the Logan Township, New Jersey Semifinal was made up mostly of 'heats' with callbacks on day two. However the second of four classes to actually be placed on March 15th was won by Starr Benton of St. Andrews University (on left). On hand for the awards ceremony was Samantha Harvey (on right), who is the Keystone Quarter Horse Queen and until recently an IHSA rider for Bloomsburg University. A senior from Snow Hill, North Carolina who also competes on the St. Andrews hunter seat team, Benton was a blue ribbon winner in team Rookie Western Horsemanship. St. Andrews won the first three team classes and never trailed. The Knights won by a healthy 41-26 margin over reserve champion Delaware Valley University.
