Back on October 19th when Brandeis hosted the season opener Stonehill College teammates Elizabeth Carreiro (on left) and Lauren Eager (on right) won consecutive sections of intermediate flat. On October 26th Carreiro (a sophomore from Mansfield, Massachusetts) qualified for Regionals in intermediate fences. Eager (a junior from Rocky Hill, Massachusetts) has earned at least one top-two ribbon at four shows so far this season. On October 25th Stonehill hosted and finished in a three-way tie for high point team (Tufts, the University of Connecticut and the Sky Hawks each finished with 32 points) though the hosts did not receive the high point ribbon. Stonehill was reserve high point team twice and third twice, yet overall the Sky Hawks sit in first place with an eight point lead on Boston University headed into the winter break.
