She was fourth in individual intermediate on the flat on May 2nd at 2025 IHSA Nationals. And on September 27th Emily Richardson of the University of Rhode Island won her open over fences class to help the Rams temporarily tie for first at the Pre-Season Tournament of Champions invitational in Towson, Maryland. The senior from Jamestown, Rhode Island is seen here with head coach Wendy Brayman (on left) after receiving her first place ribbon that day. URI has a 2-and-1 record through three Region 1 shows, most recently besting Salve Regina University 41-34 at the Brown University show on October 25th. The Rams and Johnson & Wales have gone back and forth, with URI leading after one show, the Wildcats after two and now the Rams ahead again prior to the J&W show on November 1st. UPDATE: On November 1st Johnson & Wales won 24-22 over Salve Regina while URI was third with 17 points. The Rams had a three point lead and enlarged it to eleven points during two shows at Hunter Ridge November 8th and 15th which is the URI home facility. Both Yale University and Wesleyan University made their 2025-26 season debut on October 8th.
