Julia Gildea was one of three University of Connecticut riders to advance through Regionals and Zones to 2008 IHSA Nationals at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, California. The Huskies junior rode in the first class of the entire show and placed sixth overall in individual intermediate over fences on May 8th.
