Seen here with her parents, Cornell University's Kelsey Craig (center) won the first of five sections of advanced walk-trot-canter at the
February 23rd Skidmore College show. It was an impressive first season for the freshman from New Canaan, Connecticut, as Craig pointed up in only the seventh Region 2 IHSA show
of the 2007-08 season.
Stony Brook University Head Coach Myrna Treuting (far right) schooled a horse or two at Region 4 Regionals on April 6th. As the day progressed, Melissa
Heide (far left) and Alexandra Schauble (center) both advanced to Zones with third-place ribbons while Seawolves' teammate Amanda Urbanski (third on left) won the intermediate fences. Zone 2 is one
of a small number of Zones where the top three riders in each division advance to the Zones show. In 2009 Zone 2 will become the first Zone in many years to advance the top three individuals in
each division to IHSA Nationals, this due to the fact that over 1,300 hunter seat riders will be registered across their four regions for the second year in a row.

Held on April 12th, the host school easily won 2008 Zone 2 Zones. Several riders who qualified for IHSA Nationals went on to
