WESTERN SEMIFINALS RESULTS MARCH 26TH AND 27TH IN SPRINGFIELD, MO
While Black Hawk College was generally ahead over the final few classes,
up to six other teams were still mathematically alive going into the final
class. Murray State University, which won consecutive region titles in 2008
and 2009 but did not advance a full team at the time will have a full western
team at Nationals for the first time in over a decade. The Racers were second
while the University of Nebraska at Lincoln was third despite only one ribbon
above third place. The Cornhuskers are the only top three team in Springfield
to have fielded a full western team at 2010 Nationals.
Riders who place first through fourth in individual classes at IHSA Western
Semifinals advance to IHSA Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky May 5-8, 2011.
