Our editor took nearly 500 photos during IHSA Nationals in May. He forgot to identify the riders in three of them, including the one on the left. Prior to the start of the 2010-11 season we will attempt to highlight the three 'mystery riders' in these pictures in hope that someone might contact our editor and say "That's Me."

CONSTRUCTION TIME AT CAMPUS EQUESTRIAN AS WE UPDATE OUR MAPS

Our map of the IHSA's nine Zones found on the Campus Equestrian home page last needed to be modified in mid-2005, when parts of Zones 2 and 3 were re-aligned. In mid-2010 another modification is necessary, as the IHSA will have one less Zone but five more Regions for the coming season.

In 2005 only our National map, our Zone 2 map and our Zone 3 map were affected by the changes. In 2010 one hundred percent of the Zone maps need some sort of modification, not to mention the map of the entire USA.

In July a new map was created for our home page, with the most noticable features being the removal of Zone 9 (all of which is now part of Zone 7) and the addition of parts of British Columbia and Ontario. This map first appeared on the Campus Equestrian home page on August 1st though at that time the links were not accurate. As of August 16th the map on the home page now links correctly to each of the eight zones (those who feel nostalgic for last year's Zone 9 will note that this zone can still be accessed from the drop-down menu on our home page).

The Zone maps found on each of the eight Zone pages have been updated, with the abbreviation for each state and province now included for the first time (our apologies to the District of Columbia, which should be identified on our Zone 4, Region 1 page but currently is not. A correction is on our 'to do' list).

The new 2010 map found on the home page also belongs on all 36 region pages and the adjoining Open Rider Standings and Alumni Standings pages where needed. As of August 17th the old map of the US remains on all but two region pages and their adjoining pages. By August 31st we hope to have the new map in place of the old one throughout the site. In the meantime we ask for our viewer's patience as we swap out the maps through the end of the month. If anyone spots a bad link or something else that seems amiss on September 1st or later please contact us at editor@campusequestrian.com and let us know so that we may correct the problem.
